Opportunities for Advancement
Some may overlook CNC precision machining jobs because they lack experience. However, many at ĢĒŠÄTV started their careers armed with a mechanical aptitude and a knack for working with their hands.
Dave Rupp is a Tooling Procurement Specialist at ĢĒŠÄTV. āOur engineers all started on the floor,ā he said. āThatās the big thing about ĢĒŠÄTV: the ability to move up the ranks. Theyāre willing to take chances on people they know have the skill and ability to do things.ā
āI got thrown a lot of opportunities and I took full advantage of all of them,ā said Brandon Fuller, CNC Operator. āThe further I advance myself and bring [others] up to another level; weāre all kind of reaching the ceiling together.ā
Dan Karbon, Continuous Improvement Engineer, agrees. āIf you come to work and do your job and show that, youāre going to advance in this company,ā he said.

Continuous Improvement & Training
Dylan Klein is a machine operator who began his career working the third shift. āI wanted to come to the first shift,ā said Dylan. āSo they initiated more training so I [could] move on and move up as a machine operator. If [you] want to learn more, they will open up opportunities for you to learn.ā
Dan Karbon enjoys mentoring others on the team. āWe have a really good training program here,ā said Dan. āItās enjoyable for me to train someone new and to see them learn something, to see the lightbulb go on in their head.ā
āThis career path is always evolving and so is this industry,ā added Brandon.
Fulfilling Work
Some envision a CNC machining career as one where theyāll stand in front of a machine all day pressing buttons. This is far from the truth according to Brandon Fuller.
āItās a great career in manufacturing,ā said Brandon. āI like to move around, do different things, take on different challenges. You donāt do the same day twice. You learn something new one day and apply it the next.ā
Dylan echoes Brandonās sentiments, stating, āI really love math and science. Itās more hands-on and Iām using math. Iām learning moreā¦I have to use more knowledge and not just press a button to get through the day and produce a part.ā
A Vibrant Culture
An advantage of being a family-owned business is the tight-knit community thatās formed among employees and leadership.
āItās a growing company but it still has the small, machine shop culture to it. Everybody knows everybody,ā said Brandon. āAny time weāre problem-solving, weāre all working together, not against each other.ā
Dan couldnāt agree more. āI truly enjoy coming to work. Itās family-based,ā he said.
